An antidote to modern hustle culture.
In a world addicted to speed, noise, and convenience, your decision to reject the rat race is radical. Whether you’re fighting to keep burnout at bay or chronically exhausted from a life of hurry, you belong here.
Welcome to Three MPH.
We’re a collective of purpose-led creatives committed to co-building simpler lives marked by deeply satisfying work. Through essays and conversations, we’ll explore anti-hustle topics and experiment with rhythms of rest.
Emboldened by our three tenets—margin, attention, and pace—we’ll trade limitless ambition and hurry for lasting peace.
“Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life.” (1 Thessalonians 4:11)
If it’s our first time meeting…
Hi, I’m Kayla Hollatz.
I’m a website copywriter and strategist. An essay writer and poet. A slow business and simple living enthusiast. An apprentice of Jesus.
While my path has had its unique twists and turns, we likely share a similar story—one of teetering between unbridled creativity and utter burnout.
After an unsustainable first year of business, I couldn't ignore how much of my identity was tied to my work and productivity. As I confronted hustle culture and rebuilt my identity in Jesus, I began to eliminate hurry from my life with greater confidence—all because I knew who I was walking with. I’ve been practicing slow living ever since and share a deep connection with others who are doing the same.
While my personal story may have inspired Three MPH, this is as much your space to share and reflect as it is mine. I hope to create a welcoming space for all to share their unique experiences in pursuing life at Three MPH.
I'm so glad you're here.
